ABOUT US
Well......... First of all I just want to say Thank You for taking time to read through our website/forum we hope you like what you read and see. Everyone is welcome to join us whenever we have social events, attend shows, cruises or meets. Keep an eye on the forum or Up & Coming Events in the main menu.
You have arrived at the best place on the world wide web for car enthusiast and meeting new people! While most car sites are focused on a single marque or area we focus in all the criteria's. KroozinNorthWest was established in April 2006 as an experiment to bring car enthusiasts of all ages from all over the North West, Uk together in one place. We hope you enjoy your time with "KNW" and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask a member of staff.
Well back in 2006 we was only a small forum, with only a few hundred users, but eventually, the site grew to the point where using a free forum on the internet was very inefficient. The forum would slow to a crawl when too many people were trying to open the same message files at the same time.
So, we upgraded around the 2nd year to a fully built and editable forum. For the first year we ran "KNW" just using a free web hosting space from off the internet. This worked well for a while, but eventually we wanted to have more control over the server's operations, editing the forum and adding hack's and most of all we wanted to buy a the "www.kroozinnorthwest.co.uk" domain. So we had a chat with a close friend and he helped us out to sort out what we needed as we were getting bigger and bigger.
When we decided to start this forum, the obvious name for such a place was "KroozinNorthWest" but I wasn't certain that such a perfect domain name, but it worked and people like began to like it, the our nickname is "KNW". To my surprise, www.kroozinnorthwest.co.uk & .com was in fact available, so we bought the domain without delay! We did prefer the "Cruisin" but that was not available.
KNW has gone through many upgrades over the years. Due to increased traffic, we have recently designed a new website with a fresh new look for all our member's to use and keep up-to-date.
We are also now accepting voluntary donations from members. KNW is not a free forum, and no one is obligated to pay to participate here. However, if you feel that KNW is of sufficient benefit and would like to assist in the day-to-day expense of running this place, any and all sales or donations are appreciated.

Manchester International Festival 2009 - Sunday 5th July.
We had been contacted by BBC Media, Independance and Manchester International Organisers to be part of a Procession in Manchester on Sunday 5th July 09, along Deansgate, Manchester.
10+ members from our forum, took part in the Procession. Driving there modified cars down Deangate playing a piece of music by "The Black Out Crew" specailly written for Jeremy Deller.
The Procession lasted approximately 1 hour and we started at the Liverpool Road end of Deansgate.
It was all noise, colour and the excitement of a typical parade – but with a Mancunian twist.
Everyone who took part in really enjoyed themselves and had a cracking day, below we have produced a slide show of some of the pictures taken on the day.
Thank you to all those who showed there support for KroozinNorthWest.co.uk.
Below are a few group shot's we have had taken over the few years.
